Larry May was a career hotelier, successfully managing upscale hotels for Westin from Chicago to Atlanta, Houston to Los Angles back in the ‘70s and ‘80s- running properties of all sizes across the country before returning to Boise and launching his own hotel & restaurant ownership. Larry had an unmatched passion for the hospitality industry, dedicating his life to the people, properties, and communities he served.

The Larry J May hospitality scholarship supports full-time students enrolled in a degree-seeking program related to the hospitality industry, including hotel/lodging, food service/restaurant, entertainment/golf club, resort, and the travel/tourism industries.
